Tour of Ireland

We arrived home around 9:15pm, but not without a lot of trouble. We felt like we were on the Amazing race...we woke around 3:15am in London, took a taxi to Heathrow for our 7:00am flight, only to find that it only takes 15 minutes to get from Earl's Court to Heathrow at 3:45 am. We sat around waiting for the ticket counters to open. Then flew back thru Dublin. When we got to Dublin, we changed planes and flew to Philadelphia. Arrived in Philadelphia about 2:00pm, went thru customs then had to reenter security to get boarding passes for our final leg home. I will post some more pictures, but we are exhausted and need to sleep. Guess who is playing golf in the morning?

This tall ship passed thru the bridge and was returning from 2 months out ...you can see the masts are full of youths standing and yelling and singing. Was an educational ship to teach youths sailing and other studies. We met a mother of one of the boys who was there to greet him coming back home.

Today is our final day in London. We stopped to see the Tower bridge (background) and an art exhibit of oversized guitars.

This is a view of the Elgin marbles inside the british museum...we saw what was left of them in Greece last year.

We stopped for drinks in harrods...an amazing store.
